How can I make Windows XP remember the exact position I carefully place each of my many desktop icons? I have disabled all right-click arrange options yet Windows still insists on rearranging them at random intervals whenever it feels like it. Very frustrating... Could someone please help out?

You can download the free Icon Restore. It incorporates itself into your right click menu of the my computer icon. Here'tis. http://snapfiles.com/get/iconrestore.html
