Remapping enter (return) key

Hello clever people. My enter (return) key has stopped functioning after I spilled
beer on my laptop. I would like to remap it to my right shift key which I never use.
How can this be done? I have read about keyboard scanning, but I am a novice and
am scared to try anything without specific instructions. Great thanks to whoever
can talk me through this.

Honestly, it would beasier to just replace the keyboard. Then, keep the beer away
from the keyboard :)

Why am I screwed? I've read lots of threads where people have remapped their caps
lock keys etc. Is this impossible with the Enter key? In fact, I don't need to remap
the enter key, I just need to remap the right shift key to become the Enter key -
if you see what I mean. Thanks for your help.

I know what you mean, I think you will find it very problematic.
