This suggests you are not using a firewall and other safe computing practices (e.g. you may be involved with P2P file sharing). Until you do, you will continue to have problems with junk like this. Of course, it is best to have both a firewall (try sygate personal firewall or zonealarm) and antivirus installed before you go online to be safe. If you even suspect this could be a worm, go to McAfee and get the "stinger" to scan for it and repair as needed. Check out: http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ However, if you get this error and have reason to believe that it is not the worm, then try this- it works for me every time: Open up your network connections, and right click on your Local Area Connection to set Properties. Under the Advanced tab, check the box to enable the firewall. For some reason the error never happens again. I've run every virus scan I know and even downloaded the sasser fix tool from symantec... but it wasn't found each time. Then I tried this fix, and the problem has gone away! Thanks!
