how can i perform a complete system restart? i believe my computer has a virus. i don't mind if i lose all my things in my memory...i just want a clean start. any help would be great

The normal procedure would be to disable the System Restore feature and then run whatever anti-virus program you have(assuming you have such a program).

Do you mean clean install??...www.michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html ..you,ll need a 98 boot disk to do this correctly..if you,ve got a factory puter..disregard.

Soitenly..you,d use it for Fdisking and Partioning etc...;)
