Question about 'Getting Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) to work with PPPoE'

I cannot get IPCONFIG to work on Windows XP, the DOS window opens for about one second
then closes back down, so I cannot get my host IP address. I am trying to get ICS
to work with Linksys phoneline network and DSL. The host computer goes to any site
but the client will not go to any web page.
Thanks,
Randy

Sounds like you are running ipconfig straight from the RUN command under the start
menu???
if so, run CMD instead, pull up a command prompt window and then type IPCONFIG and
hit Enter..
Hope this helps.

Thank you, I was trying the run prompt. I didn't know I had a command prompt in accessories.
Thank you, Randy
