hyperlinks in Outlook express 6.0

I recently upgraded Windows XP home editon from the service pack 1 to the service
pack 2. After this was done I have not been able to click on hyperlinks and go to
a web page in Outlook express 6.0. I tried to go back to system restore but this
did not work either. I uninstalled outlook express also, this did not work either.
After I installed it back I still am not able to click on email with links in them
and go to the page. When you click on it nothing happpens no browser comes up or
nothing. Does anyone know how to fix this?
