Question about 'How do I skip the Product Activation in Windows XP?'

I have a question about How
do I skip the Product Activation in Windows XP?:
Working in desktop support, I often have to rebuild PC's due to various problems.
Best way I found to skip the product activation is to switch the computer off when
it starts going through the activation process. You'll still need your CD Key though.
I'm probably going to get flamed for this but if you have 10 PC's waiting to be rebuilt
you really don't have time to sit on the phone to MS to get activation keys.

Is this a wind up?
Do you ever turn the machines back on again?!

No wind up. This is absolutely true. I have done this loads of times. If it didn't
work my users wouldn't be able to do any work.
