how do i at least delete all the pictures that Window picture and fax viewer saves.
every web page and picture i look at ends up saved there. can i delete the picture
history

Delete them in the Safe Mode before going onto Internet. You should be able to change
your file options on the Picture and Fax Viewer so it won't save files unless advised.
If you are not using the Fax app, install Irfanview and set it to open any pics
you need to view.
Check your file relationships anc change them in Folder View dialog box to avoid
Fax Viewer.

I followed the solutions #1 & #2 and the changes did not take place and Win Pictures
& Fax Viewer continued to be the default viewer. Do you have another solution? My
main complaint is that it retains ALL images that have been viewed in the past. I
seem to recall some time ago that the system could be set to erase or not retain
the images. ..........................
