Also, "even a broken clock shows the right time twice per day". Or Christie-Davis
theorem: "If your data are wrong but you logic is perfect, you will unavoidabily
get a wrong conclusion. So if you commit logical errors, you have a random chance
to find the right answer."

TurboTax 2008

I cannot run, uninstall, install again from disc or updateTurbotax 2008. Anytime
I attempt anything, or when it attempts to update itself, the "Turbotax 2008 has
encountered a problem and needs to close. If you were in the middle..." message.
I have sent the error report many times, as requested by MS. Any ideas?

Laptop will not boot
Monday, August 31, 2009 at 7:43 am Posted by M. Lee Berger
(1 messages posted)
My laptop has been sitting for a couple of months. I charged the battery and started
it. It cannot boot.
Message on screen: "NTLDR is corrupt. The system cannot boot."
I have tried the recovery disk, even reformatting from the recovery disk but nothing
works. It tries, then same message. Does anyone know why this happened and how to
fix it?

Try a new thread, also try Googling as this is a fairly common problem.

Please stop posting new unrelated problems in this thread

I for one ignore old threads and it seems like the others often do the same, so please
post a new thread with your problem rather than bumping this unrelated and dead topic.
I normally would not say anything but this has happened in this thread multiple times
already.
