this is a smaller problem than my game problem, but I wondered if anyone else had
this? My speakers/sound echos. Well, it just..sounds like any voices/music/sounds
are coming from a huge echo chamber. I dont know if that makes sense, but I wondered
if anyone else had run into it.

What sound card do you have? Some sound card apps load a configuration utility that
allows you to alter the sound with various effects including a reverb, which sounds
much like an echoing.

This is a "crappy" eMachine. No idea about the sound card. How do I find out what
kind and how do I change it??

Most likely it's on the motherboard, look in your Programs to see if there are any
sound applications. Your assessment of your system is a valid one, but we all make
mistakes like that one, my first PC was an AT&T 1600. Last factory built computer
I ever bought. You can buy a replacement sound card for relatively little money.

I realize its been a couple of years since you had that echo chamber sound on your
computer but, I just saw your message. Do you remember how you solved that problem?
