Remote Assistance Help

Hello, I am running Windows XP Home edition. I am trying to get a friend to help me with my computer using Remote Assitance. He has tried it with me and it has worked, but when I invite him it says for him, he cannot connect to me. I have tried it numerous times. I am behind a firewall, and i have tried to forward a port, but it says it has been already automaticly forwarded. I have turned off my Norton Auto-Protect. So, what else might I need to do?

It depends on the firewall. If you're using Norton, try turning it off and seeing if it works. Also, if you're on a router or your friend is, you'll need to forward that port. It could also be your friend's PC, I've had that experience before. Try turning firewalls off on both PCs, and if it exists, forward the port on the router or disconnect the router and see what happens.
