auto rebooting

Hi All,
My notebook is continuely rebooting, it just gets to the window screen then just
reboots. It will not continue pass this point. All suggstions will be appreciated..
I'm not sure wether to reinstalled the operating system or if I can recover all my
files that are on the hdd.

If you can boot into Safe Mode or Safe mode with command prompt, go to run and do
a SFC /scannow. If not, you can always do a repair installation and keep your
files.
