Seem to be getting files that Norton can't delete...all adware. What is best way
to get rid of these? Is there a good program that will not screw everything else
up? I currently use Norton Systemworks, but not Firewall.

1) Install a firewall, there are many free options
2) Use Spybot, AdAware, and Spyware Blaster. These are all free.

Norton Systemworks is a *mess*. Aside from a list of many issues/conflicts it causes...
it slows your system down and is not professional software. Do yourself a favor
and research those links that Joe just posted. You'll be happy you did.
Good luck,
Joe

Hitman Pro is the best adware remover. It is built from 8 different ad/spyware killers
with a single GUI to manage them all. In addition, it has built-in protection against
a bunch of malware not covered by Spybot S&D and ad-aware et al., and it includes
SurfRight, which makes IE, Outlook and Messenger run in a restricted mode.
The only drawback: it's only available in dutch.
