Im just now noticing that its all my shortcut icons..and they are all associated with .lnk extension..and they cannot open. I tried searching in this forum for help but all i could find was help related to ME o.s. . Make sure you copy the short cut to the desk top and not move it there, because that will remove it from the Start menu. Delete the old icon. When i click on a program to open a complete differetn program comes up.
