Text files in the Windows folder

I have a question about What to Throw Away:

Is it really safe to delete all the .txt files in the Windows folder? How can I tell which ones I might need in the future?

Why would you go to all that trouble? If you want to delete all the Readme, Whats New, Logs and every other Text file, you'll regain about 2MB on a fairly heavily loaded loaded C: Drive............. For what? You can't install anything on that, it won't speed up anything and if you're really that hard up for Drive space - you've already got pretty serious trouble. Don't waste your time
