Question about 'Get Rid of the Logon Screen'

I have a question about Get
Rid of the Logon Screen:
I followed the instructions for XP sp2, used 'control userpasswords2, and clicked
ok, now I can't get into my computer! (log on, password required).
Question: If I toss the computer from the third floor window, will I be liable for
damage to the cars below?
Help! How do I get back in to re set my machine?
Thanks, Tom

The solution there is incomplete, you should select the account to log on automatically
in the box below that checkbox and only then uncheck the box. Hey, webmaster, where
are you?
I think it wants to log on automatically on the default "administrator" account.
Did you set a password for it? If not, try with no password.
Do you see the "welcome screen" or the old style logon dialog?
If you see the "welcome screen", press ctrl-alt-del twice to bring the old logon
dialog and enter Administrator with no password (or with password if you have one).
Repeat the procedure and uncheck that box then log on normally and do it right.

Borg: Thanks so much! I'm getting a "Log On to Windows" box, with Windows Home Edition
Splash
with Copyright info & Microsoft, etc.
Below that, it has the User Name Box (ie: Administrator) and the Password Box (Blank)
I have never used a password, ie: leave it blank...
When I hit the OK, I get a window "Logon Message
"Unable to log you on because of an account restriction
Borg, trust me, you fix this, I will fax you cash! Really, I hung up man, this is
worse than what my old lady does to my body parts! Ha!! Thanks for any help...

get another pc. take your drive put it in slave on the second pc then find the 2
sam.* files on the slave drive not the c: drive and delete them. your slave drive
that was the c: drive in your first pc can be d: E: f: and so on depending how many
hdrives you have on the second pc.
put back your drive in the first pc. windows will recreate the 2 sam.* files that
was containing the hacker psswd. you Should go thru with no prob.
