Right-Click on desktop hangs after Radeon install

After installing an ATI Radeon 9250 PCI card, every time I right-click on the desktop
to open the display properties,my computer hangs for a few seconds, and drwatson
appears in my task manager - It never opens. Ive updated my BIOS, chipset, and radeon
drivers, and it still does it. Anyone know what the problem might be?¿ I have XP
Home Sp 2 - P4 - 2Ghz - 640mb Ram.

Maybe if you disable
dr.watson a normal crash report would tell something. Also disable the "Error
Reporting Service" in Start -> Run -> services.msc.

Remove the Radeon card. Does the problem go away. If so you may have a bad one. If
so, return it for a new one.

Ok, I disabled DrWatson and error reporting, then tried right clicking again on the
desktop. This is what I got:
Explorer.exe - Application error -
The instruction at "0x01b0a550" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could
not be "read". Click OK to terminate, or cancel to debug. I clicked debug and got
this: The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occurred in the application
at location 0x59a7295d. Maybe a software problem?¿

It didn't do it before I put the card in. The thing is though, everything else works
perfect on it, so I don't think it's a defective card, maybe a software problem?¿

This is caused by a buggy explorer extension, most likely a context menu item. Download
ShellExView and use it to
disable context menu items until you find the culprit.

Ok, I downloaded ShellExView, disabled all the context menu items, but the problem
still remains. Is there anything else that I can disable to try and fix this problem?¿

You can access display properties in control panel? If yes, go to Appearance -> Effects
and disable (uncheck) everything. Those settings are all eye-candy, you don't need
them.

I already have those settings disabled. I need to find a way to get my right-click
menu on my desktop to work.
