I have a question about How do I use the built-in CD burning in Windows XP?:

Hello all: How do I put info that I copied to a CD back into the Pc ? I'm very new at this , I'm just practicing & trying to learn the procedures of computing.Thanks for your time & interest. Bill

Several ways, I usually just drag the data back to the desktop. After you put the Cd in the Rom, XP will give you a option to open the files, unless you have Auto Run turned off. In that case you would have to open th CD by clicking on the CD Rom Icon in My Computer. You can also use Copy and Paste, or Copy To commands from the Edit Tab.

I lost the Windows XP disc recording feature and I am trying to get it back. How do you restore this feature - Microsoft said there is a patch ? Thanks
