I'm having a problem with the appearance of my video. The colors, brightness and contrast of my desktop appear fine, but when I play a video it looks as if I've set the media player to brightness level 100%. I just formatted my harddrive and reinstalled all the updated drivers. I also installed the same codec packs I used just prior to formatting my computer. Before I formatted my HD I had no problem playing videos. What's really bizarre is my dvds appear normal when I play them in the internal dvd rom. Any suggestions?

It appears I've solved this dilemma. After many failed attempts which resulted in failure, I finally resolved my video issue by uninstalling the driver and restarting my computer. When the computer booted I inserted my video card cd and let windows plug and play do its thing. Miraculously, the same method which didn't work in the first place worked the second go round'.
