I have a question about How do I move the TaskBar and the Start Menu?:

hi, i have a really stupid problem that i've had to deal with for about two months now. at around the time my previous mouse was in its death throes and really out of control, it would randomly re-arrange objects on my desktop and it ended up that my taskbar is now placed on top of the screen instead of the bottom. i would try to drag the taskbar downwards but the farthest it gets is only halfway down. it is extremely annoying to work with your taskbar on top, but i really do not know how to get it down. HELP!

Can you drag it to either side - and then to the bottom?

Hi Maria When you right click on the task bar is there a tick against "lock the task bar"? if there is untick it, place the mouse pointer just next to the start button and drag to the side then to the bottom.
