Combine folder contents

Is there a way to combine folders if the names of the folders are the same rather than overwrite the folder. I ripped my music on 2 different computers to save time, but now I'm spending a ton of time combining all of the folders of the artists that are the same. Thanks I'm on XP SP2

What is the problem with overwriting the folder? Since the names are the same nothing
really changes. All that should happen is the files from the source folder of the
copy will end up in the target folder of the copy.

Question: How are combining the folders? Have you setup a home network and are dragging
a folder from one computer to the other and getting popups about folders having the
same name?

Unless you have files of the same name, simply copying them will work.
