Network Drive not displaying entire contents

Hi
Ive got a laptop user who uses a vpn to view the mapped drives when out of office,
weird thing is it doesn't always show all of the folders within the mapped location
f5 f5 f5 nothing, but once in awhile after several disconnects reconnects to the
vpn it sonetimes updates and shows all, anyone have any ideas?
