Tie the mms protcol to a media player

If I click a link in any browser (K-Meleon, firefox, internet explorer) that starts with mms://..., my browser complains that mms is not a registered protocol. How do I (re)associate mms with windows media player (or another media player)? Looks like control panel/folder options/file types and the configuration screens in WiMP10 can't do it.

"Animation"="dxmasf.dll,150"

"URL Protocol"=""

@="URL:mms Protocol"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MMS\DefaultIcon]

@="C:\\Program Files\\Windows Media Player\\wmplayer.exe,-120"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MMS\shell]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MMS\shell\open]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MMS\shell\open\command]
