Question about 'Turn Off the Low Disk Space Warning'

I have a question about Turn
Off the Low Disk Space Warning:
It does not work for my XP even after several restarts. Any suggestions? My registry
key reads:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Value name: NoLowDiakSpaceChecks
Value data: 1 [Hexadecimal]

First, follow Ricers advice.....
Second, you need more experience before you work on your register. This problem
is minor, the next one could be near fatal.

XP INFO XP CLEANUP
Try putting the same entry in both of these keys.
Registry Settings
User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
Explorer]
System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
Explorer]
Value Name: NoLowDiskSpaceChecks
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (0 = default, 1 = disable messages)

Thanks for the advice, but I already have ten years of extensive registry editing
experience with no problems.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I had made a keyboarding error and did not notice
it--poss due to a very small font in which "a" and "s" looked similar due to my failing
eyesight. Will have to be still more careful in my proofreading of registry changes!
I normally would have pasted in the rec changes, but I do not recall why I didn't.

I make typographical errors all the time for the same reason. I should know better
than to type anything without my glasses on.
Was the one entry enough or did you have to put the same entry in both?

ok, i found t here finally.........i don't know if it works yet, but this is what
i found on this thread......i have a hard time navigating threads and postings and
stuff...
and now i know why i can't put a zero in for the value......it means default, and
that was what the other setting was set at.....
