I run windows XP on a very slow computer, and it has no isses playing Media files, but certain webpages I visit seem to saturate themselves with Quicktime or Windows Media Player files. I want to be able to stop Internet explorer from playing these, How do I do it? A simple enable, disable system. OR have it ask before it does it, because it makes loading the webpages a MILLION times slower, because it has to load up the windows media player program to play my file. Which takes a while on this comp.

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options

Click Advanced tab, scroll down to multimedia section, disable "play video in web
pages."

Let me know if this doesn't work.

Jeff
