Problem viewing some jpg files

Hello-
Does anyone know of a site like this one where people can get help with other computer
problems? I may have some corrupt digital camera pictures (jpeg files) and I'm not
able to view them. I'm hoping that someone will be able to help me figure out what
the problem is.
I am able to view some jpg files, but not all files. As a matter of fact, I'm able
to view all files in some directories, but in other directories, I can't veiw any
of the files.
In the bad files, if I right click on the file and go into properties, then click
the summary tab, I get "Summary properties are not available for the selected source(s)."
If I do the same in the good files, I get all sorts of information.
I'm wondering if I could have some how either protected or maybe even corrupted some
folders, but not all folders which hold the pictures.
Does anyone here have expertise? Or do they know of somewhere else I can go?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Jon

Perhaps your memory stick is bad? Are the contacts clean? It's probably not a computer
problem.

Hi-
The files are actually on the harddrive, not on the memory stick. Any other suggestions?
Thanks.
