I have Windows XP Pro loaded onto an IBM R50 ThinkPad with an S video port. When
trying to use it to watch DVD movies on my television, I can see the desktop icons
but I only get a blank window where the movie is playing. On the LCD screen, I see
everything. Does anyone have an idea why the TV shows everything except the movie?

Switch setting for TV to primary display.. or if possible - look for a 'clone' setting.
