Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 9:59 pm Posted by oneilchung (8 messages posted) Try to run a ping command to the server from your PC. Goto Start-> Run -> ping and press enter. You should be getting responses. If not check your network hardware to see if the cables are fine. If all hardware checks out, try disabling your firewall and try again. To further verify if your networking hardware is fine, try to ping your computer from other PC in the same network. Usually for my case is the windows firewall blocking communications.
