Hello,
Everytime I turn my computer on and windows
start, a dialog box shows up it says: " windows cannot find (4 boxes in front of
find). Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a
file, click the start button, and then click Search." How do I get rid of this error
dialog box? Thanks

Check in your startup folder in your Start menu for any programs that can't be found
Click Start > Run > Regedit
*Be careful in Regedit, it is recommended that you backup your registry before making
any changes
Browse to HKEY_Current_User > Software > Microsoft > Windows > Current Version >
Run
Find the corrupted/invalid keys and delete them
Browse to HKEY_Local_Machine > Software > Microsoft > Windows > Current Version >
Run
Find the corrupted/invalid keys and delete them

Sorry, but what does "(4 boxes in front of find)" mean? Looked in your Event Viewer
(Start menu --> Administrative Tools) for any errors there logged at the time you
get that on-screen box? In particular, look under the System and Application categories
in the Event Viewer. If any error is there logged at that time, right-click on
it and then click on Properties to raise its Properties box, from which get the error's
description, source, category, and event ID.
