Hi.
Im missing this file Actxprxy.dll and need it to resolve a problem which I may have
found the answer to here on the boards.

The problem is I cant click on a link and open in new window. I found the file Actxprxy.dll
on some site but they wanted me to pay for it. Is this available somewhere for free?
If so where do I put it if I get it?
I want to perform the fix where you do this:

Run each line individually.
Start – Run then type
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
 regsvr32 Mshtml.dll

Thanks

There's never any need to purchase a DLL file. Just another rip-off gimic. To replace
it, you need to repair/reinstall IE.

Thanks for your effort. But looks like I dont have the actual XP cd's just the recovery
disks. Im lucky I even got those from HP.
I wanted to use the system restore but there are no restore points before saturday
when I started having this problem.
Dont understand why system restore is monitoring all the drives but there are no
restore points???
Maybe I can install ME on one of the partitions till I extract all my personal files?
Also I cant click on some links on web pages, nothing happens, same with internet
shortcuts.
