My microphone keeps automatically adjusting its volumen when I speak in the microphone...its making everything in the background way to loud for others im talking to. when i lower the microphone volume again it just slides back up as soon as i start speaking...any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks!

Happy New Year
check device manager for any signs next the sounds and look inside msinfo32 from run box from start button and see under componants and problem devices if anything about sound is listed.
