I am having quite a few problems with XP. I also find that XP is more virus/spyware/adware
prone compared to W98. Please let me know if you have any links on this subject.

Download coolwebsearch toolbar and then go to .gator.com and download everything
on the page. Finally, install Bonzai Buddy, check out some porn, and watch the sparks
fly. ;)
Oh, and be sure you're using IE during all of this.
If you're trying to get back to the original OS, then you could always use the OEM
disc.

Uninstalling XP

XP INFO
The best way is to clean install one or the other or use a dual boot system with
both Windows '98 and XP. As usual Internet Explorer is a prime culprit so if you
install SpywareBlaster it will tell you if IE is configured for security.
When the operating system(s) are installed you should make a drive image (I have
a drive image of XP US Englis and XP FR Frtench, which is on the D: drive). That
way if you do have a problem you can restore the drive image and be back in business
in minutes as soon as you have updated the Anti-virus and done a scan.
What problems are you having and how can we best help you with them?
The computer's specifications would come in handy too.
Click on the XP INFO link above for more info.
Mac
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

You might want to do a search in this forum before asking this, it is a common issue.
For the record: There is no build in function in windows XP which allows it uninstall
itself. It is not something the end-user is supposed to do. You can't downgrade the
OS, only upgrade.
If you really want to get rid of XP you have to reformat or wipe the XP partition/harddrive.

No need to Uninstall XP which is something you can't really do (You can wipe it by
purging your disks). Simply install 98 over the top delete exesting partitions create
a new one and format and install.
You should give XP a chance. 98 sucks

Just a friendly point of information.....there are conditions under which XP will
offer an uninstall option in Add or Remove Programs; for example, if running an upgrade
installation from say W98 or Me to XP Home, and you answer yes to the question, "Would
you like Setup to archive the files necessary to uninstall XP and revert to your
previous Operating System?"
