It's not clear what your problem is. If the taskbar didn't reappear, go back to
the Task Manager and look under the Processes tab. Sort by "Image Name" and find
the instances of "explorer.exe" and End them (End Process button). Then follow the
previous instructions again, to Run "explorer". This should restore your desktop
*and* taskbar.
