Question about changing default compression extension

I recently installed a tryout of a compression program called "Easel" which I removed
in control panel "remove programs". Now everytime I zip a file, the extension shows
it as a Easel file instead of a Zip file.
How do I get it changed back to Zip?

Have you done this? click on My Computer, click to tools, folder options, file types.
Scrool don the list until you find ZIP. click once on ZIP, you should now see what
the current setting is to open zip files, if there is a box labeled restore, click
it once. That should be all yopu have to do. If you already did this and it does
not work, please let us know.
