i changed it last week and now, everytime i start up the computer i get a box that
says "your homepage has been changed" .. keep new value or restore old value. i
check the box telling it to keep the new value but still get that message next computer
startup. in fact, this morning i got it when clicking on IE after the computer
was already started and the offending box clicked. how do i get rid of this message?
thanks, dan

First you should update your anti-virus program and run it. If that does not solve
the problem, open IE to the web page you want for your home page, click on Tools
- <>Internet Options - then select Use Current.Restart your computer.

You have spyware and your homepage will continually get changed until you clear it.
Use the guidelines as outlined here.
It is very thorugh and don't miss any of the steps.

You must have a program running at startup that protects your system from registry
changes. Only you would know what program that is. That's what you need to look into,
Dan.
