My Windows Firewall Turns off

Everytime I start my computer I have had to check to see if my Windows firewall is on, it never is. I set it, close and the next time I turn on my computer again, it's off again. It's starting to drive me crazy. How can I set it so that it stays on. Thanks

It should stay on, unless a piece of software is turning it off. Malware can be one cause, even heard some of the New AV Security Suites are not compatible with the XP Firewall, so they will turn it off to avoid problem with their app.

Like Steve said it should stay on. The windows firewall is adequate but if I were
you I would opt for something a little more subtantial. Zone Alram have a free Firewall
that will suit most peoples needs.
