Cursor Moving On Its Own!

Once in a while my cursor will start moving left to right, and even clicking on things
as if my computer has been hijacked, I try to fight it and it will keep going so
I just have to wait and eventually it will stop- I have run Mcafee virus scan, hijack
this, adaware, and spybot and it doesn't see any problems with my computer. As the
mouse was moving I unplugged it to see if it was something wrong with the mouse but
the cursor kept moving even though the mouse was unplugged! I have checked the accessibility
options for the mouse and the mouse keys are not enabled- I don't know what is going
on- is it a virus or something else?? Any ideas??

Let me guess...
Laser Mouse?
Is it also a wireless mouse? If it's
not wireless, it prob just needs to be cleaned/ calibrated. If it is wireless, it
prob still needs cleaned and calibrated, and it also may be picking up someone elses
wireless mouse signal.
Stranger things have happened...

I have a mcafee firewall installed and it still goes on if I have it on lockdown-
If I unplug my internet connection it still happens, and even if I unplug the mouse
it happens! I have a usb mouse that plugs in and so I assume there's nothing wrong
with the mouse.
