Question about 'What to Throw Away'

I have a question about What
to Throw Away:
I believe this is a related question. In Add/Remove programs I see Microsoft Office
2000 SR-1 Premium and Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003. Can I use the remove
programs option to remove the 2000 version without hindering my ability to use the
2003 version? The 2000 version is using 160MB of my harddrive that I would really
like to free up.
Thanks for any input or direction.
Garrett

im not totally sure.. but i dont think that doing so can corrupt the 2003 version..
but before doing it, just make sure you have a 2003 installer handy..
in case after uninstalling office 2000 and problems do crop up, you can then perform
a repair to your office 2003 using its installer.. no sweat.. :)

Thanks for the reply. I don't have the installer disk handy. So, I'm not sure whether
I'm going to try it or not. But thanks again.
