I have a question about Get
Rid of the Recycle Bin:
I've tried the download (and I didn't like the idea of backgrounds going grey with
the patch!!) and my bin won't show me the rename or delete options when I click the
mouse, with either side. I want to delete the bin because I hate the look of it -
I have no icons on the desktop apart from that one....and I can delete any file easily
enough without it. I've read the May 06 messages and it seems no-one has the answer
does this mean we're stuck with the bin?? It's spoiling my desktop picture! I say
ban the bin... can anyone help?

No nothing turned grey - it was the download on annoyances.org. Everything is still
as it was... including the bin, still there...

Can't you just right click deaktop,arrange icons by, and uncheck show desktop icons?
