Syatem Restore does not work

My friend is trying to use system restore in XP. However when she tries to do this
it goes through the stages of the process but only to end up by saying it cannot
be restorred.
Any ideas on this one?
Stuart

More info here - http://bertk.mvps.org/html/srfail.html -
Are you by chance using a new version of Zone Alarm? This has been causing a lot
of problems with system restore lately.

Hi - It is a well documented fact on this forum that system restore is unreliable
and can be more trouble than it is worth, most users disable it and create regular
backups using other third party software.
