Question about 'Customize Drive Icons'

I have a question about Customize Drive Icons:

I tried changing my USB icon. It didn't work. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I opened a notepad file and typed [autorun] icon=E, as I only have one icon in my E-drive. It didn't work. Please help

Your format is wrong. The article states:

[autorun]
icon=filename, number

So you would need

[autorun]
icon=e:\filename.ext, number

Leave off ", number" if it's a .ico file.

Hmmm, I think I screwed that up, format should be:

[autorun]
icon=filename.ext
