How to delete images opened Windows Picture and Fax Viewer viewer?'

It seems that any image that I have opened with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer has
been saved somewhere. When I want to print something opened with WPFV thumbnails
of hundreds of images open up. How can I delete these thumbnails? As far as I know
I did not save the images ever, just opened them.
Thanks

Your post is not clear enough, but I am guessing you are looking at your Temporary
Internet files.
To delete them, go to your IE menu...Tools > Options > click Delete Files
You can also click Settings to set the Temporary Internet files to use less disk
space, if that is your concern.

Hi pat
Are these the thumbnails reached thru' Start, My Pictures, C:\NCDTree\My Pictures
- View = Thumbnail?
If so these Thumbnails can be deleted
Double check that you really want to loose these items
Then right click, choose Delete

I would geta good picture viewer/manipulator like ACDSee, and make the mod shown
in the Annoyances like at the left of the Annoyances page and stop the Windows picture
viewer from glomming onto all your pix.
Even though you associate picture files with another viewer, XP ignores that association
unless you halt it. You then have a better handle on thumbnails.

hey guys
even i had a big issue on deleteing the past viewed images
and i found some thing like this
when you open a image in the mail and goes to print it will show all the past images
so to delete them their a option called edit
next to save button
so when you go to edit
you will find small 3 buttons in the left hand side
where it says thumbnail view and filmstrip view
so you can select any of that and select all then you can delete so after that when
you go to print a image you wont see the past images
hope it will work
but it worked for me

big sigh. i've read ten replies and not one that answers the question. Anytime
you download or upload a pic from any source it is kept in the Windows P&FV. Next
time you download a photo, delete it from the Windows P&FV screen and another photo
will most assurdly pop us. I've been deletint them one by one and realizing that
I have 3 years of photos...every one I've ever downloaded even the embarrassing ones
and don't want to do eternal deleting. Hence, I came here to find out how to delete
ALL the files from the darn thing in one fell swoop. I'll go back to the string
now. Thanks.
