I have an addition to Get Rid of Irritating Splash Screens:

To eliminate the various splash screens associated with the Hummingbird/Exceed product, go to the Hummingbird directory under 'Program Files':
    C:\Program Files\Hummingbird\Connectivity\#.##
Under the 'Exceed', 'Accessories', and 'HostExplorer' sub-directories, delete/rename any .bmp files that start with 'splash'.

Removing the .bmp file works when starting mwm.exe, but causes problems when starting sessions. So, instead, I replaced the .bmp files with a 1x1 .bmp file. It doesn't stop the splash screen process, but at least you can't see it.
