'Customize Drive Icons' - Icon will not change

I have a question about Customize Drive Icons:

I followed the directions, but the icon for the drive does not get changed to what I want. I'm trying to set this up for my ipod. After putting the autorun.inf in the drive, the drive icon changed from the standard "hard drive" icon to the "unrecognized file" icon (the one that looks like a tiny, blue, windows 95 window). This is what I have in the inf file: [autorun] icon=C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Favicons\ipod.ico What did I do wrong?

Hi Paul,

Copy the ipod icon to the root folder of your iPod then create an autorun.inf using notepad which contains the following:

[autorun]
icon = \ipod.ico,0

Hope it works, it did for us!

Nick
