Question about the sequence of images

I installed fireworks 8 and it screwed up the file associations,
i've changed them all back but when I preview an image in a
folder that is sorted by modified date, size, etc..., the sequence
seems to always be sorted by name. This didn't happen before,
any ideas?
in the file association it has:
rundll32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %1

Usually when something occurrs like that, you should undo the last thing you did
to see if that fixes things. If it doesn't, there's other things to try.

Uninstall fireworks 8 then use System Restore to go back to a time before you installed
it.

well i was messing in the file types when i decided to delete
the preview action, did it but the preview option was still
available in shell. it works fine now, just need to figure out
how to make it the default action but i guess it will be easy.
