I have a question about When I choose "Shut Down" from the Start Menu, my computer hangs at the "Please Wait" screen:

i tried to use the tips given but still i face the problem.i scanned my comp. with f secure anti virus.it found no malware.what to do?please help me.

I didn't read the posted tips, but here is what I would do first. Go to ccleaner.com 
and download and install the latest version of ccleaner.

Scan for, then remove all junk files. Scan for and repair any regisry issues. (Being 
sure to select yes for backup when prompted.)

If it still hangs, Microsoft has a free program called uphclean that resolves this 
issue.

hi thanks, i downloaded ccleaner .i cleared all junk files from system but in registry cleaner despite doing multiple cleans ,many activex issues pop up everytime.shall i post those screenshots? what to do there? thanks again. pratik
