I have Windows XP Pro, sp 2 and use OE 6.

If I write an email and for whatever reason it isn't sent, how can I get that document
back in "Create Mail" so I can send it or continue to edit it? Right now I Forward
it.

Thanks

royeo

Hi,
If you tried to send the message, but it did not go
because of server outage,no connection or whatever,
you'll find it in Outbox.
You can either edit it there or move the file to Drafts and edit.
You can even drag it there.
From either folder you can send when finished.
If that doesn't work, (it should,I just tried it :)
leave the "old" message open, copy the text
and paste into a newly created message pane.
Edit it there if you like.

Hi Roy! Peter's idea will work fine. The shortcut key strokes for COPY and PASTE are CONTROL "C" and CONTROL "V", in that order, after you have used your mouse to highlight the text. Hope this helps........Lee

As I recall you can simply double click the message in the OUTBOX and you will be in Edit Mode and there will be a SEND Icon available.
