Desktop icons/toolbars won't stay put

I recently used a program to clean my registry(REGSEEKER), and have noticed my desktop items won't stay put after rearranging, and restarting. I've made sure auto arrange is off. Also, my quick launch icons won't stay. Is there a quick fix, or did REGSEEKER clean up a little too good? I just hope it didn't cause any serious problems! Sould I open up the backup files from the clean and make any changes?

You certainly should restore the backup files. Reboot, check that your system is working correctly, and then proceed cautiously with your clean up in the future. I haven't had that problem with regseeker but it's great that it has the facility to restore the deleted files.

In regseeker make sure the "save windows explorer positions" is checked and all is well.
