I have a question about how to get my computer running again. I put in the Windows XP cd and now my computer keeps restarting over and over. I can't really read what it says because it is so quick, but it says something about there isn't enough memory. Can someone help? Thanks

I assume you are trying to reinstall Windows. After the Windows CD is in and the computer is rebooting press F2 to enter setup, change the boot order to boot from CD, save and exit, it will prompt you to press "any key" to boot from the CD. It will ask if you want to install or repair Windows

I just realized that when I reinstalled it that I used a Dell cd instead of a emachine cd which is the computer I have. What do I do?

I didn't know that was possible. I thought those CD were branded to the specific
machine.

Anyway, I would suggest that you put the correct CD in and re-install. That way,
your sure to get the correct drivers for your specific system.
