I have a question about Enabling or Disabling Automatic Windows Update:

Hello everyone..I have Windows Xp Pro on my computer and all the time it is telling me that there are updates ready for it , but I am sure that all the updates are already installed , but the yellow shield keeps on popping up even though I have disabled the automatic updates!. Can anyone help me on this situation please ?. Have a happy new year!!!!!!

Did you disable updates or just disable update notification? You disable Automatic Updates by right clicking on My Computer then Properties. Click on the Automatic Updates tab and select Turn off Automatic Updates.
